From the 3-6th of September, 2019 the kick-off meeting for the Diversity@Work project was held in Lisbon, Portugal. Representatives from 9 different European countries (Croatia, Spain, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Estonia, Ireland and Portugal) took part in the three-day workshop that enhanced the participants knowledge and skills regarding the creation of blended learning materials in the diversity & inclusion context. The meeting served to establish a common understanding of the project deliverables and activities and define next project steps. Furthermore, in preparation for the meeting, all participating partner organisations provided a needs and resources assessment regarding their existing D&I tools. Based on these materials and individual feedback from the different diversity charter representatives, a solid basis was developed for the Charter Implementation Toolkit as well as the blended learning online course.
